Niiiiiiinjaaaaaas

This is what happens when three people have a camera on a Sunday afternoon, when they should be practicing improv:

More unexpurgated photographic evidence of our shenanigans:

Ninja Improv

Honestly? So much fun. Next time we're trying it on a trampoline. Maybe.

Coda: Have you noticed that TINJUN NIU = NINJU UNIT? It's true. And it is a dark and forboding omen.

Hollywood

Jon, Aviva and I did a show today for the Richmond Heritage Whatchamacallit. Basically a bunch of kids from across the city presenting their little history projects. They loved the show. After we were done, and just mulling about the front of the stage, this little girl comes up to me and says "Can I have your autograph?"

This girl was so moved by my jokes about Mexican Carnies, by the appearance of my alarmingly long arms from behind some tiny kid, by my skillful use of the words "fire hydrant" in One Word Story, that she wanted me to scribble my name on a bit of paper.

How could I say no? I could not. She also got Jon and Aviva's signatures. Jon put his phone number as well, which was mildly creepy. I think it was for her mom, though. It was confusing...

Earth Day

Allergies are Mother Nature's way of polluting us.
It's true. On the freshly cut grass of King George Park, Aviva, Lawrence, Tinjun and myself (Spencer) gathered at the behest of the East Richmond Community Association to put on a performance for the big Earth Day bash. Using the oddly liberating wireless headset mics, we plied our eco-friendly trade for the appreciative audience, which included (for the second time in three weeks!) Mayor Brodie.

These community centre gigs are great, because not only do you get paid, but they give you delicious chocolates shaped like the earth when you're done.
